The Goal of Tommy's Place Capital Campain:
To raise necessary funds to Maintain, Sustain and GROW Tommy's Place for the future.
To make magical vacation home(s) for kids fighting cancer. That's right, we can't stop at one! The flagship Tommy's Place opened in July of 2021. Now, we need to raise funds to help maintain and sustain the flagship home. We also need to raise additional funds as we seek to grow Tommy's Place - one magical vacation home isn't nearly enough for all of the kids that are suffering from this horrific monster right now. At Tommy's Place, we aim to give kids a break from hospitals and doctors visits; a place of safety, comfort and new experiences. A place for kids, family members and extended family members to come together as one to make memories and most importantly to have FUN!
In the meantime, we are actively seeking new opportunities for the next Tommy's Place(s). In 2018 we were very fortunate that the Richardson family in Falmouth sold us their former inn at a greatly reduced number so we could embark on this mission of bringing smiles to the faces of kids fighting cancer. If you, or someone you know, has a large single-family home, piece of land, inn, motel, or hotel that you think would make for a great Tommy's Place let us know. Maybe there is an estate that may be looking to leave or donate their real estate to a charity or a large donor or institution that you may be willing to help make an introduction to. We can not do this alone. We need your help. We need help from the Tommy's Place "family". After these past several years of hard work, we have the model in place, we have the supporters in place and we have many local, regional and national suppliers on board with us.
